DISCOVERY OF BIRDS

The semaphore of Brignogan-Plages and the bay of Goulven, as well as the bay of Curnic are places well known by the ornithologists. They privilege the observation of the pelagic birds (sea watching) at the semaphore or the migratory birds (Guissény, bay of Curnic, and bay of Goulven), waders, ducks.

Hikes are organized to discover and explain biology of birds. On the place, panels will give you explanations about the different sorts.
  The shore birds

Many of these birds which you observe during your ballads along beaches, feeding with frenzy on the sand during the moving back of the water or flying away in your approach in a white and silvery cloud, covered thousands of kilometers, cthrough seas and continents. These places where you met them are often only a short stopover during their migratory trip, towards Siberia, Groënland and Canada in spring, towards Africa during their autumn migration.

It is deeply recommended to respect the well deserved quietness of these big travelers by holding your dogs in leash and by avoiding of excess to approach you it.

  The birds of fields
Discover to the dawn, at the beginning of the spring,
with the strong scents and the sensational light of a bright interval,
the harmony of the songs of the passerine in a peaceful rustic ballad,
cross a sunken lane stealing between fields and copses,
here following a brook, there bypassing a rock lost in ferns,
